Beef Cattle Pregnancy Scanning

We offer both manual and ultrasound testing methods for our clients.  

Foetal ageing for management of calving is a useful tool, used by more and more famers. Timing is critical, so bull introduction and removal dates determine the best time to test cattle.

Ageing into 3 cycles – test 14-16 weeks after bull introduction

Identifying lates – 6 weeks after bull removal

Heifers : 42 days (6wks) after bull removal

Cows: 42 days (6wks) after bull removal
