Veterinarian in Wairoa

Eastland Vet Services is seeking a hardworking, independent, enthusiastic veterinarian to join our team. The position is based in our Wairoa branch clinic approximately one hour south of Gisborne.

This is a true mixed sheep and beef opportunity with a chance to cement lasting, trusted relationships with farming clients.

Eastland Vets extended it services down to Wairoa in 2018 and are committed to providing professional animal health care and advice to our clients throughout the region. Our two clinics are run relatively independently of each other, with the larger Gisborne clinic used for support and resources when required.

The Wairoa clinic employs 2-3 veterinarians and has four dedicated support staff. The successful applicant will have good communication skills, be self-motivated and have a sound skill base.

Wairoa is the gateway to Lake Waikaremoana and the Mahia peninsula. Hunting, fishing, surfing and the great outdoors abound – make your own fun and immerse yourself in a very welcoming rural community.
